We’ve worked together and separately at other ad agencies. We teamed up because we knew that, with our combined skills and talents, we could provide unique solutions to our clients without the cumbersome layers of bigger shops.

Here’s a little more about each of us.

William Wayland
Founder, Account Director

William will not take you golfing and he’s unlikely to wine and dine you. Instead, he rolls up his sleeves and gets to work. William collaborates with our clients to ensure that all Favorite Nephew projects successfully achieve their strategic objectives. He digs deep to gain a complete understanding of a client’s business and their marketing strategy. Then, he manages the day-to-day tasks with that big picture in mind. He’s worked with clients in a wealth of business categories such as athletic apparel, beer, cleantech, MLM, nonprofit, pharmaceutical, QSR (fast food,) retail, software, telecommunications and video games. Some of these clients include: adidas, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM,) AOL, AT&T Wireless, Coors Brewing Company, Dockers, Moviefone, Sega, Sprint PCS and Taco Bell.

Ariel Lustig
Founder, Creative Director

Ariel knows that most people don’t want to be marketed to. She approaches every project as an opportunity to win over audiences with creative work that engages and inspires. Ariel steers our creative process with an unbridled enthusiasm for finding the right concept and execution for the challenge at hand. She’s a rare breed of creative who not only makes breakthrough work but also ensures that it meets the strategic objectives. Prior to co-founding Favorite Nephew she created successful campaigns for happy clients including AOL AIM, Current TV, Jamba Juice, Moviefone, Scion and Tech TV.

Wayne Hanson
Creative Director

Wayne never stops thinking. Once an advertising problem is presented to him, he relentlessly attacks it (in a good way) until a unique solution is reached. Working as an art director, copywriter and creative director on international and local brands at some of the world’s best agencies, Wayne has created world-famous campaigns that have catapulted his clients to success while earning him some of the industry’s highest accolades. Wayne’s career has taken him from England to Sweden to the United States, working with dozens of clients along the way, including AOL AIM, Mercedes, Moviefone, Reebok, Scion, Tesco, and Unilever.
